The Bentonite Lumps mined out from the mines is spread evenly on the drying platforms where the lumps is sun dried by exposing it to direct sunlight as well as by turning & tilting (ploughing) it at regular intervals until a desired size of lump and desired moisture level is attained.

The process of impurity sorting is simultaneously carried out during the entire cycle of drying and lumps size disintegration.

After drying, lumps sizing & impurity sorting, the lump is chemically treated by using Soda Ash (Light), Polymers and other specialized chemicals as per requirement.

The chemically treated lumps is sun dried by exposing it to direct sunlight as well as by turning & tilting (ploughing) it at regular intervals until desired size of lump and desired moisture level is attained.

The sampling as well as chemical analysis, test of physical properties, test of bonding properties, test of rheological properties and any other specific tests is done at different stagies like – pre & post mining, post impurity sorting & drying, post chemical treatment and drying as per standard procedures defined in our ISO manual . If the test results are found satisfactory, then it is subsequently followed by process of heaping the processed bentonite lumps. In case, if test results are not satisfactory, then the required reprocessing is done and then it is followed by process of heaping.

The Bentonite Lumps from the heap will be grinded resulting in fine free flowing Bentonite Powder of a specific grade which will then be packed in various packing like 25 Kg PP Bags with inner liner, 50 Kg PP Bags with inner liner or in 1000 Kg Jumbo Bags or in packing recommended by customer.
